|Contracts have been signed for the painting of the condo facia boards and hallway floors and stairs.|
The fascia boards are the boards along the roof edge line. They are being painted because the current paint is showing signs of wear. In addition, fascia boards that are not in sound condition will be replaced.
The condo hallway floors and stairs are being painted because the current paint is showing signs of wear and the stains on it are difficult or impossible to remove. The new paint color will be Silk Chocolate, a darker shade of brown. The new paint will also be less porous and therefore it will be easier to clean up spills.

Both painting projects are expected to be started within about 30 days and it will require another 30 days to complete all seven buildings.
Prior to the fascia being painted, residents in the building being painted will be given a two day notice to not park in the front row along the building to make room for the lift and to keep paint from getting on their vehicles.
A two day notice will also be given to residents prior to the painting of the floors and stairs in their building so that they can plan their schedule around the painting. To ease the inconvenience, the painting will be done Monday through Friday between the hours of 10 am and 4 pm.
Additional information will be provided to the residents prior to the start of these painting projects.
