7/4/2012 - Rising Sea Level Map Projections

Climate Central’s Surging Seas map lets you see whether you’d stay dry if sea levels continue to rise.

You can adjust the model to account for sea level rises of as much as nine feet.

And if you zoom in on our area you will see that all areas between Atlantic Avenue and Boynton Beach Boulevard West of Jog Road remain dry even if the sea level rises nine feet.

Of course if the sea levels ever rise this much, there would be a lot of other changes that would make South Florida a whole different place to live, like Federal Highway and I95 would be under water as would much of the land East of us.
