|The Federal Emergency Management Agency has updated its Palm Beach County flood maps for the first time in 30 years. |
The preliminary FEMA maps released in June show an increased exposure to flooding in some areas of the county e.g. Wellington, Royal Palm Beach, Loxahatchee and The Acreage.

But our rating remains unchanged at "Areas determined to be outside the 0.2% annual chance floodplain. " This is as good as it gets!
Note: Tropical Storm Isaac brought us a lot of rain and the water level in the lake reached a record high of 20 feet above sea level, but our homes and streets were not flooded.
