|Boynton Beach received nearly two feet of rain in a 24-hour period, ending Friday at 8 am, and there was a lot of flooding in the county including an extended closure of Congress Avenue. |
As for our community, we had record flooding with the water high enough to cover Old Farm Trail as seen in the picture below.
In fact the water level in our community reached a record high of 20.8 feet above sea level with the prior record being 20.0 feet on 8/28/2012.
Fortunately our drainage system was able to keep ahead of the rain, so that the rising waters did not get into our homes or parked vehicles.
