7/5/2016 - Dear Anonymous - Sometimes You Have to Step-up

The Speak Up section of this web site allows you to send emails to the Property Manager and identify yourself or remain anonymous.

Sometimes remaining anonymous works just fine, for example when reporting a parked car with expired tags. In this case the facts are easily verified.

However, sometimes the facts do not speak for themselves, as in the case of a noisy neighbor. In cases like these you need to identify yourself if you want the Property Manager to act.

For example, today I received the following Speak Up

At two am on July 3rd the residents of unit x-xxx screamed fought and yelled terribly at each other. They were obviously involved in a very serious physical argument!

Problem is there is nothing the Property Manager can do about this other than discuss it with the residents of the unit- which almost certainly will not stop them from doing this again and again - until somebody has the balls to call the Sherriff and/or report the problem using their name and be willing to stand behind their statement.

Point being, sometimes you just have to step-up if you want your life here to be better.
