7/21/2016 - Lake Level Low - But OK

Viewed from a distance, our lake looks fine, but viewed up close it looks low, and it is low.

The design level height of the lake is 16.0 feet above sea level and it is currently at 15.75 feet.

As to why it's low, the lake, is normally filled by run-off rain water from the streets and parking lots on the property and from the section of Flavor Pict Road that fronts our community. But we are currently experiencing a minor dry spell.

That said, in addition to filling the lake with rain water, we have the option of filling it with reclaimed water and should the level go to 15.6 feet, that is what we will do.

Note: the historical low for the lake was 15.45 feet on  5/19/2011 and the high was 20.8 feet  on 1/11/2014.
